Board & Train
The fastest way to set a foundation. Your dog lives with Hope in the Valencia region for one to four weeks, in a real home, and works through structured one-on-one training every day. At the end she hands the skills back to you in a private session so the progress holds when your dog is home.
Every program is built around your dog. Before training begins, Hope meets you both to design the actual plan.

Private Sessions
Hope comes to you, so your dog learns where the problems actually happen. You stay involved and learn alongside your dog so the work continues between sessions.

Training with Hope in Valencia
Yes. Hope runs Balanced Paw in Canada and trains in English, so nothing gets lost in translation. You understand exactly what your dog is doing, why, and what to practise.
Hope is in Valencia every year for the winter season, and this season she is here until May. She works with a small number of families at a time, so spots are limited and it is worth getting in touch early. If this season is full, she will be back next winter.
At your home and in your neighbourhood, where your dog actually has the problem. Hope covers Valencia city and the surrounding towns, including Campolivar, Godella, Rocafort, Bétera and Torre en Conill, L'Eliana, La Cañada, El Vedat de Torrent, Picassent, Puçol and the coast from Port Saplaya to El Saler. Your dog lives with Hope in her home in the Valencia region (Comunidad Valenciana), a short drive from the city, for the length of the program, and trains every day in a real home and real streets. You get a written report and a handover session at the end, so you know exactly how to keep it going.
You are not on your own. Hope keeps working with her Valencia families over video, so you can check in, troubleshoot and keep progressing. She is back in Valencia every winter for in-person sessions.
Up-to-date vaccinations (rabies and the core vaccines) and, for board and train, kennel cough protection. If your dog has a bite history, tell us up front so we can plan the first visit properly.
